Joshua
Joshua Bowers, D.M.D.
Dr. Bowers is a Michigan native who grew up making the trek to Ann Arbor to watch the Wolverines play. He attended high school in Goodrich and then completed a Bachelors of Business Administration at the School of Management at University of Michigan-Flint. He then traveled to Ohio for a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine; he received his degree in 2018.
We are pleased that he decided to return to his home state to practice. Dr. Bowers loves having the opportunity to provide high-quality dental care to the community in which he grew up.
Bassam
Bassam Nahass, Dental Lab Technician
After graduating from Damascus University in 1988 with a Bachelor's degree in Dental Laboratory Technology, Bassam went to serve 2 years in the military making dentures and retainers. Following his service in 1990, he started his own Dental Lab which he ran until he and his wife moved to America in 2013 with their 3 children.
In 2015, Bassam opened Nahhas Dental Lab, an in-house dental lab where he fabricates a wide variety of dental appliances including but not limited to: retainers, occlusal guards, crowns, implants, partials and dentures.
Bassam continues to operate Nahhas Dental Lab successfully, with the help of his wife and their children! He joined Dental Care Team in 2018 with over 30 years of experience and we are pleased to have him with us!
Outside of work, Bassam enjoys spending time with his family, enjoying his wife's amazing home cooked meals, fishing and hunting.
Asaad
Dr. Asaad
Dr. Asaad's mission as a dental professional is to make a difference in her patients' life by giving them confidence in their oral health and helping them maintain dental health for a lifetime.
Her goal is to treat patients with patience and kindness and to provide a pleasant and painless experience as much as possible.
Dr. A graduated from Wayne State University with BS in Biology then went to Chicago to obtain her degree in Dental Medicine from Midwestern University.
She loves spending time with her family, listening to music, and enjoying long walks outside in nature.
Seguin
Jill Seguin, DDS, FAGD
Dr. Jill Seguin believes the most important part of her job is taking care of her patients-removing their fears, and delivering compassionate care - guilt free. Dr. Seguin offers a distinguished professional background and over 30 years experience in dentistry.
Education and Professional Credentials
Dr. Seguin graduated from University of Detroit, School of Dentistry, and immediately after attended an advanced dental residency program at Detroit Receiving Hospital. She went on to complete an Oral Surgery Fellowship at Ohio State University.
Dr. Seguin's strong drive for excellence led her to earn several certifications from the acclaimed Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Studies; complete advanced training with the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education. Dr. Seguin has also earned recognition as Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, a rigorous award requiring numerous written exams and 500 hours of continuing education.
To stay on the cutting edge of clinical knowledge, she averages approximately 150 hours of continuing education a year, which exceeds the State of Michigan's maintenance of dental licensure requirement by 300%!
Jake
Jake
Dr. Jake Son
Dr. Jake Son attended University of Michigan for four years and majored in anthropology. He continued his education for one year in Master of Biology at Oakland University in Michigan. Following year, he attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine for four years, where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
Dr. Jake Son's mission is to provide comprehensive dental care, improve oral health of patients, and further increase awareness of oral health care in individuals and community. He continuously seeks professional development opportunities to remain aware of latest dental technologies and to provide dental services that meet standard of care
On his free time, he is learning how to speak in Spanish. In hopes that someday, he will be fluent in Spanish as he is in Korean and English.
